PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is a Pavement Only Project covering approximately two miles of SR 600 (US 92) just east of Lakeland in Polk County, Florida. The limits of this project are from Schalamar Creek Drive to West of SR 570. The existing roadway is a four-lane divided facility with 12-foot travel lanes, unpaved inside shoulders, and outside shoulders with 4-foot paved. The scope of this project includes milling and resurfacing the travel lanes, turn lanes, median openings, and existing paved shoulders.
PROJECT PURPOSE
Rehabilitate and extend the life of the existing roadway through milling and resurfacing.
